Students Day, also known as Tatiana's Day, is celebrated in Russia on the 25th of January. Students Day commemorates the end of winter university exams. This year the celebration will be held from January 25 till January 27. An eventful program has been prepared for university students.

Students are invited to go on various tours and visit exhibitions, take part in sports competitions and mind games. Those who want to get specialized knowledge are invited to participate in entrepreneurship and career development trainings. On January 25, full-time students and girls and women named Tatiana will be able to visit 28 ice rinks for free. Most of them are located in city parks. In order to take advantage of the promotion, it is necessary to issue a ticket in advance on the website of the place and present it together with the Student ID card. Skate rental for Tatianas will be available with a 50% discount.

Some pavilions of VDNH park complex will open their doors for free to students and Tatianas on January 25, while other exhibitions will provide discounts. Visitors will get an opportunity to go downhill on an inflatable sledge ("vatrushka") for free, attend educational trainings and master classes, and participate in a dance flash mob at the skating rink.

Gorky Park will hold the "Student Commotion" quest at 17:30 on the stereo rink. Besides, the youth will have a chance to compete with each other in creating content for social networks by taking pictures and writing captions while completing tasks. The park organizes a free romantic "14 love stories" tour for girls and women named Tatiana. They will walk around the park and hear about the novels that unfolded here in different centuries. Participation in any of the interactive events involves pre-registration on the Gorky Park website.

Izmailovskiy Park and the Bauman Garden organize an entertainment program right on the ice rinks. Students are invited to a festive disco. The Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, in the absence of a skating rink, offers students a free ride on a tubing slide. In the Kuzminki Park, university students will be able to rent skis and tubing with a 50% discount, and Tatianas will get it for free.

On the final day of celebrations, a "University Race" will be organized, 35 teams of Moscow universities are to take part in it. The Race will take place at the athletics arena of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. Famous athletes are to attend the event to conduct a preliminary warm-up. The program includes several types of competitions.

On January 25, 1755, on the day of the Holy Great Martyr Tatiana, the Empress of Russia Elizabeth (Elizaveta Petrovna), who made a huge contribution to the development of architecture in Russia, signed a decree on the establishment of the Moscow State University (MSU). For a long period of time, this day was considered the MSU birthday, then it gradually became the All-Russian Student Day, and since January 25, 2005, in accordance with the President of the Russian Federation decree, it is the official "Day of Russian Students".
